Oh! Tiny thing that I'm 99.9% sure I'm understanding correctly but want to make sure--with the ear piece, the comm device can be used hands free (at least, for voice? does it have the ability to do voice-to-text and similar functions?), correct? since Amanda wouldn't have the use of her hands. She's used to using dictation software and the like so wouldn't find that an adjustment at all.
