Good day Fleet residents!
We are changing a few things around here regarding the Activity Check that will go into effect next AC (so August 1, 2017). We are talking about them now so that you all have the biggest heads up. Two things will be permanent, one will be temporary as we are just trying it out to see how it goes.
1) We are separating the point earning from AC requirements completely. It will not start this current AC, but going forward, starting August 1, 2017, we will have an AC post completely separate from a Point tallying post. Characters will not get a point for passing AC, HOWEVER all sub-threads that have a minimum of 5 comments from your character can be used over on the separate point tallying post – even the sub-threads used in the AC. Though, characters will still have to pass AC in order to tally points.
We hope this will help players that want to by-pass the point system altogether. Plus, this means more points for players who want to participate in earning points.
2) We’ve removed a few options from the Bonus Points list. “Now I am the Master” and the “Busy Bee” – they might make a comeback if we get more players in the future. And again, this goes into effect starting on August 1, 2017.
3) Number 3 is the biggest change. For July’s Activity Check (to be posted August 1, 2017 – August 7, 2017) we are going to try something different. The AC for July, will be thus:
One (1) game post – A Log Post or A Network Post
✦ There will be No minimum sub-thread/comment requirements. Only an effort to engage characters who do comment to your character’s post.
✦ The post must be open in some part to the played characters of the game.
This is meant to be temporary, just to see how this kind of Activity Check works.
