Owm Orakalla Specific Elemental Powers

✦ OWM ORAKALLA POWERS ✦

Here. Here. They are coming.
... We have trained them to think of the Future as a promised land which favored heroes attain ...
✦ Owm Orakalla Powers: Overview

The Owm Orakalla's elemental force is Water. Owm spells focus solely on the manipulation of water in all of its forms, fortified by magic. It is weak against Lea Orakalla Elemental Magic (Earth), but strong against Vii Orakalla Elemental Magic (Fire).

The Owm Orakalla specific elemental powers are broken down into four categories:
Summoning:
Practitioners learn how to sense and summon the Owm elemental magic. The Owm element being water. Example: Summoning a sphere of water in your palm. Summoning Spells are merely for practicing summoning skills. To utilize these spells proficiency in the Utility category is necessary.

Defensive:
Practitioners learn how to use the Owm elemental magic in defensive ways. Example: creating summoning an ice shield.

Offensive:
Practitioners learn how to use the Owm elemental magic in offensive ways. Example: creating a snowball. (This would be a level 1 attack.)

Utility:
Practitioners learn how to use the Owm elemental magic in a variety of useful ways. Example: creating ice cubes for cooling a liquid beverage.

Using the Owm Orakalla Elemental Magic is linked to intent, meaning to cast a defensive spell, the practioner needs to have proficiency in the Defensive category. To cast an offensive spell, the practioner needs to have proficiency in the Offensive category. To cast a utility spell, the practioner needs to have proficiency in the Utility category.

Who can learn to use these powers?
Those with the Owm affiliated gara gem, who dedicate themselves to learning from the Orakalla can learn to use the Owm Orakalla Elemenal Powers. If your character does not possess an Owm colored gara gem, they cannot learn to use Owm elemental magic.

Learning these powers is optional and can be stopped any time.

These powers ARE subject to the restrictions outlined HERE. If a character has an existing set of meta-powers, including those from a different Orakalla, these Owm Orakalla Elemental Powers are NOT obtainable.

Weaknesses:
See Level 5 and 6 for Weaknesses.

Duration and Durability:
See Level 5 and 6 for Duration and Durability.

Sync'ed Addition

Sync'ed Addition: Group Shields
Only defensive usages of Orakalla powers can be sync'ed.

While concentrating, a group of practitioners (2 or more) can join together to make a stronger shield than they could make individually.

The stength and size of the shield(s) depends on the practitioners involved in making the shield(s). See below for shield strength and size examples.

Range:
The range is dependent on the practitioners' Range Addition Mastery. Without it, the shield target must be within range of the practitoners. With it, within range of the practitioner's mind sight.

Strengths:
The strength of the shield(s) equals the highest level among the individuals in the group plus one. In this way, two or more Owm practitioners could band together to form a shield stronger than a level 6 Lea attack.

Example 1: If two individuals form a shield together, and they both are level 2, the strength of the shield will be a level 3

Example 2: If two individuals form a shield together, and one individual is a level 2 and the other is a level 3, the strength of the shield will be level 4.

Example 3: If two individuals form a shield together, and one individual is a level 6 and the other ia level 5, the strength of the shield would be equivelant to a "Level 7" shield, despite there being no level 7 for characters to reach individually. The strength of this shield would withstand Level 6 Lea attacks.

Weakness:
For Levels 1-6 see each level's entry for Weaknesses.
Level 7:
  • Falling Moons.
  • Death Star Lasers.

Duration and Durability:
  • The shield lasts for an extended time period.
  • The shield will dissipate after a great many hits.
