To apply for a character at Orakallace, read the rules and instructions below carefully: ✦ Players are allowed to submit an application at any time during the month, and they will be addressed at the following App Day. ✦ A reserve/hold is not required; however, if a character is reserved/held, only the player who placed that reserve/hold can app that character while their reserve/hold is in effect. Challenges are not accepted. If you would like to reserve/hold a character, go HERE to place your reserve. ✦ Players can submit up to two applications per app day. ✦ Every new player must read the following game pages before app-ing: ✦ Premise These pages cover the most important details players need to know about the game prior to joining. However, players should read all the game pages setting of the game when they have the time. 1. Copy the Application Form. FORM APPLICATION - ORAKALLACE - SAMPLE Player Information Age: All players must be 18 years or older Time Zone: What time zone do you live in Email: Please provide an email that you check often in case we need to contact you Other Contact Info: (Discord, Personal Journal, Plurk, etc.) Prefered method of contact: For players to contact you for plotting purposes Current Characters at Orakallace: If you have any Reserve/Hold: (Please link to your Reserve/Hold.) Character Information Nicknames: And provide any nicknames Canon: What is your character's canon Age: Put your character's age here PB: What PB are you using? (If you are only using cartoon and/or CGI icons, simply state that here) Journal: What journal are you using for your character 4th Walling: Can your character be 4th walled/canon punctured? Yes or no. If necessary, be detailed. Canon Point: (If your character is arriving with CRAU experience, still include their last canon point, BUT ALSO include a brief mention of their CRAU) Physical description: (Describe your character. Images can be used for reference, but please also fill out a written description. This section is especially necessary if your character is not an average human being.) Canon Information For characters who have sparse wikias, or no wikias, please provide a player-written history with enough detail for the mods to understand who the character is (min 3-5 paragraphs but, this might mean more than three to five paragraphs depending on the character. If players have significant head-canon details for their characters, please provide it here, even if you are using a wikia link for your character. Personality: Min. 3-5 paragraphs. Be very detailed. This section should comprise at least three to five paragraphs. And more is even better. We need to be able to tell you have a firm understanding of your character. If you do not give us enough to get an accurate picture of your character, we may ask for more. CRAU Information History: (History of events at previous game. Please give the notable memories/experiences your character is bringing with them from their experience in their previous game. Be descriptive. At least three to five paragraphs.) Personality: (How did the events of the previous game affect your character - what has changed/develop in them since being in that place. Be descriptive.) Players don't need to provide images, they can if they have them! Do not feel like you are obligated to provide images. Picture references or player-created images to depict their character's gara(s) are more than welcome. But players will must also fill out a written description as well. Number of gara: Characters can have up to three Primary Type and Color(s)/Color Patterns: (Ex: Vii, deep red and pink) Secondary Type and Color(s)/Color Patterns: (Skip if your character does not have a second gara) Tertiary Type and Color(s)/Color Patterns: (Skip if your character does not have a third gara) Shapes/Configuration: (Please describe your character's gara(s)' shapes and configuration.) Other Information Notable/Unique Needs: Does your character require anything beyond the basics of food, shelter, and clothing to survive - if so, list them in detail here. Are there any items they need for health functions - glasses, canes, prosthetics, etc. Anything else? Is there anything else not covered by the above that you want to tell us about your character? What name would they give? All characters arrive the same way: in the Sacred Keep aboard the Temple Ship. They are all greeted by a group of Owmi, which includes Temple workers and medical personnel. They will be asked what their name is - what name will they give? Writing Samples Third Person: (Must be fore the character being apped. 250 words minimum. Links to previous game threads are allowed. If necessary, we may ask for more samples. Also, please do not use links to anything that would ostensibly require a trigger warning (gore, kink, sex, extreme violence, incest, etc.) 2. Fill out the application and post it to your journal – make sure the post is not f-locked. (Applications for our game cannot be f-locked at any point, they are meant to be available for other players to see.) 3. Comment to this COMMENT with a link to your character's application. (Yes, to that specific comment, do not start a new thread.) Again, make sure the application is not f-locked. You're welcome to review apps from previous rounds for examples.
